Super Eagles’ players celebrate victory against Zambia inside dressing room, SEE photos
Nigeria’s Super Eagles began their 2018 World Cup Qualification bid in emphatic fashion, beating the Chipolopolo of Zambia away from home 2-1.
The Eagles won the match with two first half goals from Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi and Manchester City’s Keleci Iheanacho.
The Chipolopolo pulled one back in the 71st minute through Mbesuma.
Hard as the Zambians tried to get an equalizer, the Super Eagles stood firm to claim three precious away points.
After the match, the Nigerian team celebrated the victory inside their locker room.
