CONFIRMED! Ycee officially exits Tiny entertainment
Nigerian rapper, Martin Alejo, popularly known as Ycee, has confirmed his exit from his label record, Tiny entertainment.
The rapper made this known on his Twitter page earlier today, January 14, 2019, in response to a fan who asked if he was still signed to the label.
WuzupNaija gathered that the rapper silently left because of an alleged strife as far back as August 2018.
Although there are no confirmed reasons for his departure, however, it was reported that the founder and director of Tinny Entertainment- Arokodare Tinny Timilehin made this decision from a financial stance.
Ycee’s announcement is coming in the wake of the upcoming release of his new single, expected on January 29th with a project, under the title, ”Ain’t Nobody Badder Than” (#ANBT) due sometime in the year.
Ycee rose to limelight after one of his singles titled “Condo”, which features vocals from Patoranking, earned him two nominations at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
He was also nominated in the “Best Artist in African Pop” category at the 2015 All Africa Music Awards.[3] In October 2016, YCEE signed a record deal with Sony Music.
In December 2016, he was nominated in the “Next Rated” category at The Headies 2016
