A Twitter user, simply identified as No One@iAm_RoSaY, has called out Taxify, an international transportation network, over the “horrible” services rendered by their drivers in Nigeria.
The Twitter user queried the psychological state of Taxify driver’s stating that most of them need to be checked.
In a Twitter thread, No One@iAm_RoSaY recounted his ugly experience with a Taxify driver who he described as an “insensitive madman.

“Please @Taxify_ng do you, people, really take a psychological evaluation of your drivers and if you do, do you take the results seriously? Cos I think I’m in a car with an insensitive madman.
“So this guy comes to get me from Joel Ogunnaike, Ikeja. Supposed to be headed to Kofo Abayomi, Victoria Island. The ride was estimated to last about 53mins which was encouraging given the situation of third mainland bridge (3mb) omw to Ikeja.
“Third mainland bridge happened to be free and at about 3:30 ish, we had exited 3mb and I had my map on as usual. First, he ignored my advice to turn into Osbourne but his deviation would only cost us two minutes so I thought no p.
“Then the second instruction came, go down to Obalende, he refused again and argued with me that nooooooo TBS to Awolowo road was faster. Oga look at the map, it’s about 30mins slower!!!! I was losing it. Apparently, he was running out of fuel and need to stop at the station.
“Ignore the fact that he had no idea how to use the map, I showed him all the red patches on my map, I swear he drove off into the traffic. It took us almost 20mins to get into the filling station. After constituting a nuisance at the filling station too, we left”.
Recounting one his past distasteful experience, the Twitter user continued,
“Just like the other day too, one of @Taxify_ng drivers came from Lekki phase 1 to get me from Eko Hotel and was asking me to pay the 200 toll he was charged on his way to me. Please, are you, people, alright????”
The apparently disgusted customer pointed out that @Taxify_ng’s response to reviews or feedback is so poor.
As if it’s not bad enough, @Taxify_ng response to reviews or feedback is so poor I don’t even just bother. Outside work, I can’t use this app.
