CONSTRUCTION WORKERS! One dies, 22 injured as seven-storey building collapses in Port Harcourt
One person was on Saturday brought out dead from the rubble of a seven-story building which collapsed on Friday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Twenty-two persons were rescued with one of them badly injured, reports Channels Television.
The rescue operations were carried out by emergency workers and security agencies overnight.

However, the rescue operators believe that more bodies are still buried under the rubble. Efforts are currently on to clear it as voices are been heard from beneath the rubble of the collapsed building.
Several construction workers were at the site when the building, located at Woji Road in the Government Reserved Area of the city, when it collapsed on Friday.
An eyewitness account indicated that the building “just collapsed on the busy workers”.
