Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives’ Congress has defeated Senator Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Osun State rerun election.
Results from the polling units have revealed that Oyetola got more votes and may be declared the winner of the governorship election.
The rerun took place in seven polling units in four local governments areas in the state.

The electorate in Osun State voted on Saturday in an election that the Independent National Electoral Commission declared inconclusive, hence the rerun.
