A suspected ritualist was on Wednesday arrested in Elele Alimini, Rivers State by a local vigilance group.
The man, identified as Hu-El Mustapha Al-Musta, had pretended to be a madman.
However, his secret was uncovered by a passerby who attended community secondary school with him in the same Elele Alimini years back.
A local vigilante group led by Commander, Mr Chidi Agi, arrested the fake madman and discovered in his possession a live snake, a car key, a pack of condoms, sweets, voters card, affidavit, and a wallet with #3,500 cash.

Further investigation revealed that he packed his car at Ahoada, a community sharing boundary with Elele Alimini, before disguising as a mad man to get into the community.
WuzupNaija recalls that a 19-year-old man identified as, Aliyu Basala Mohammed Yakutchi, was arrested recently by the police in Niger State, for selling his six-year-old younger brother at Nagenu village in Katcha Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect, during interrogation, confessed that he sold his brother, Yamusa Ibrahim Yakutchi, for the sum of N20, 000 to a notorious criminal and ritualist named, Legbo.
Bisala, who is the third child in a family of six, said he took his brother to Legbo on credit and hopes to use the money to pay the bride price of his 14-year-old wife to be, Fatima.
The suspect said that Legbo was expected to pay him the N20,000 after completion of the ritual.
