Canadian rapper, Drake, leads the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a record-breaking 29 weeks in 2018.
Drake beat Usher’s record of 28 weeks at number 1 in a year after his song “In My Feelings” topped the chart for the 10th week, making 29 weeks total for him this year.
Meanwhile, Drake becomes the first soloist, and second act overall, after Boyz II Men, with three songs that have topped the Hot 100 for at least 10 weeks each, as “Feelings” joins Drake’s two other smashes that led for at least that long: “God’s Plan,” earlier this year, and “One Dance,” featuring WizKid and Kyla, in 2016.
“God’s Plan” had earlier this year stayed on top for 11 weeks while “Nice For What” spent 8 weeks at the top, all of the songs from his album “Scorpion.”
