members gathered at God’s Shining Light Church on Saturday before setting off on a memorial motorcade to Keystone Lake in honor of Michael Williams, who was fatally shot during a road rage incident.

The gathering brought together family members, friends and supporters to remember Michael and show solidarity with his wife, Holland Williams, who survived the shooting.

Holland was alongside her husband when the confrontation at Admiral and Sheridan turned deadly. She sustained gunshot wounds to the head but survived, while Michael died after being shot multiple times in the chest.

Despite the devastating loss, Holland said the support she has received from those around her has played a significant role in helping her navigate the difficult period.

She credited her community with providing encouragement and helping her find strength through faith, sobriety and meaningful personal connections.

“It’s one of the reasons that I’m still sober, it’s one of the reasons I found God, it’s one of the reasons I found my person,” she said. “The small things that keep the world turning and together Is when moments of tragedy, when people can gather together and be as one, then the community is stronger.”

In an effort to celebrate her husband’s life and honor something he deeply loved, Holland organized the motorcade as a final tribute to Michael.

“His truest passion was working and riding bikes,” she said. “He deserves one last ride.”

The procession departed from God’s Shining Light Church and made its way toward Keystone Lake, giving those who knew Michael an opportunity to pay their respects and remember his passion for riding.

Although Holland continues to grieve the loss of her husband, she expressed deep appreciation for the family members and friends who have stood by her following the tragedy.

The memorial ride served as both a tribute to Michael’s life and a reflection of the support Holland said has helped her through one of the most difficult experiences of her life.
