Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has demanded additional payment from President Bola Tinubu and his son, Seyi Tinubu, following his participation in an All Progressives Congress rally in Lagos.

According to TheCable, the singer made the demand in a viral video following Tuesday’s Tinubu-Shettima rally at Onikan Stadium.

Portable attended the political gathering alongside several entertainers and politicians, actively campaigning and entertaining supporters.

However, the singer later complained about the physical stress he experienced during the event, insisting that his initial payment was insufficient.

In one of the circulating videos, Portable was seen lying on the ground while demanding to meet the president and his son.

His manager, Babylov, attempted to persuade him to stand as they prepared to leave the venue.

“I want to see Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu; they have almost squeezed me to death,” the singer said.

Portable claimed that he had experienced extreme discomfort during the rally and deserved additional compensation.

Although he acknowledged receiving payment for his participation, the singer maintained that the amount did not reflect the stress involved.

The musician’s conduct attracted attention across social media, where videos of his appearance circulated widely.

Reports also emerged suggesting that Portable had fainted because of overcrowding at the venue.

However, the circumstances surrounding the reported collapse have not been independently established.

Portable has previously expressed his willingness to support political candidates who provide financial compensation for his endorsement.

In September 2025, the singer said he would endorse the first politician willing to pay him ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Neither President Tinubu nor Seyi Tinubu had publicly responded to the latest demand at the time of the report.
