Nollywood actress Bimbo Oshin has paid tribute to her late husband, businessman and music promoter Ola Ibironke, popularly known as Dudu Heritage, five years after his death.

Oshin shared the emotional remembrance on Instagram on Saturday, reflecting on the loss of her husband, the memories they created together and the void his death has left in the family.

According to the actress, the passage of five years has done little to ease the pain of losing Ibironke, as his death remains fresh in her memory.

“Five years have passed, but it still feels like yesterday,” she wrote.

Recalling some of the moments they shared as a family, Oshin remembered her late husband’s laughter and the affection he showed to the family.

“Like yesterday you were here laughing with us. Like yesterday you were holding our hands,” she said.

The actress described Ibironke as the heart of the family, noting that his absence remains painful, particularly for their children.

“Heaven really gained an angel the day you left. And we lost the centre of our world,” she wrote.

Oshin said their children continue to feel the loss of their father and regularly miss the love, guidance and companionship he brought into their lives.

“All your children miss their daddy every single day. We miss your advice, your hugs, your presence,” she said.

She noted that the family has continued to cherish and preserve Ibironke’s memory, stressing that his influence remains part of their everyday lives.

“We keep your memory alive because you are still a part of everything we do,” the actress wrote.

Expressing her longing for the past, Oshin said she wished she could reverse time and have her husband back.

“Time has moved, but my heart is still with you… I wish I could turn back the hands of time.”

She concluded the tribute with a prayer, reaffirming the family’s enduring love and remembrance for the late businessman.

“Continue to rest in the bosom of your maker, my husband… We love you and miss you forever,” she wrote.

Ibironke, a well-known music promoter and golfer, died in September 2021.

He was married to Bimbo Oshin and was widely known by the name Dudu Heritage. Before his death, he also served as captain of the Ibadan Golf Club.
