Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has dismissed the possibility of an immediate reconciliation with fellow artiste Odumodublvck, saying their bitter dispute must now be resolved through the courts.
The disagreement between the two rappers intensified in June 2026 following public allegations of sexual abuse made against Blaqbonez by Odumodublvck.
Blaqbonez has denied the allegations and taken legal action, reportedly seeking billions of naira in damages over claims he considers defamatory.
During an podcast interview with Arise TV’s Rufai Oseni, Blaqbonez made it clear that he was not interested in settling the matter privately.
“We’re not squashing anything, we need to face the court,” he said.
The rapper said he was particularly troubled by what he described as the use of sexual-abuse allegations in the dispute. According to him, such accusations should not be treated casually, especially given the seriousness of the experiences faced by genuine victims.
“People are going through real sexual abuse, you can’t just throw it around,” Blaqbonez said.
He also called for the legal process to be allowed to take its course, stressing that the lawyers and judges handling the case should be given the opportunity to determine the matter.
Blaqbonez further suggested that the dispute could continue even if something happened to any of those directly involved, saying their families would remain committed to pursuing justice.
The fallout marks a major shift in the relationship between the two artistes, who previously collaborated on tracks such as “Tesla Boy,” “Dollerz” and “Technician.” What began as tension between two figures associated with Nigeria’s rap scene has since developed into a serious public and legal confrontation.
For now, Blaqbonez appears determined to let the courts decide the outcome, making a reconciliation between the two rappers unlikely in the immediate future.
