Gospel singer Marvin Sapp has entered into a partnership with Roc Nation, the music and culture powerhouse founded by Jay-Z, to distribute his upcoming 17th album, Restoration.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, with the album expected in fall 2026. The first single, “He’s Not Finished,” will be available on August 21.
“God has blown my mind during every step of my career,” Sapp said in a statement. “Partnering with Roc Nation to distribute my music is something that I would have never thought possible, yet it is another reminder that – as the scripture says – with God all things are possible.”
He added that he is excited about working with the Roc Nation team and his longtime friend Stanley Brown, who wrote and produced on his 1999 album Nothing Else Matters. “This is a full circle moment that I’m proud to be a part of. I look forward to releasing this new music; I believe it will be a blessing to all who hear it.”
Krystian Santini, President of Roc Nation Distribution, said Sapp is a talented, award-winning artist whose impact spans generations. “We are excited to work with Marvin and his team, welcome them to the Roc Nation Distribution family, and look forward to many more years, and projects together,” she said.
The partnership was brokered by Stanley Brown of Timeless Music Group and TITLE 9. Brown said the vision is to establish Roc Nation’s presence in the gospel and inspirational space with the highest level of credibility, excellence, and cultural impact.
Restoration is Sapp’s ninth live recording and his 17th album overall. It was produced by his longtime music director Curtis Lindsey, with additional songwriting contributions from Lindsey, Stan Jones and Gus Lacy.
“People who have enjoyed my music and my live recordings will absolutely enjoy this album. Lyrically, it is potent and consistent with songs that resonate with the hearts, the struggles and the triumphs of the human experience. Musically, it is a refreshing, current sound with a couple of unexpected treats,” Sapp said.
