Sevilla manager, Luis García, has showered praise on Nigerian striker, Akor Adams, following his decisive performance in Wednesday night’s dramatic 3-2 victory over Villarreal CF.

The in-form forward once again emerged as the match hero for the Andalusian outfit, netting a superb left-footed effort in the second half after latching onto an intelligent layoff from Djibril Sow inside the box.

Adams’ strike secured another valuable three points for Sevilla and further underlined his growing influence within the squad this season. The goal was also his fourth match-winning contribution of the campaign, having previously delivered decisive strikes against Rayo Vallecano, Athletic Bilbao, and RCD Espanyol.

Reacting after the thrilling encounter, García praised the Nigerian international for both his impact and relentless commitment on the pitch.

“Akor, now Akor again, is phenomenal,” Garcia said via Futbol Fantasy. “Maupay had a brutal job. Well, I hope I understand myself and, damn, what a tough guy and all. Maybe it’s not done yet. Until it’s done, I’m not going to relax for a second. Not a second.”

The 25-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding season with Sevilla, recording 10 goals and four assists in 31 appearances across all competitions. His consistency in attack has been instrumental in helping the club grind out crucial victories and preserve their status in Spain’s top flight.
