The Independent National Electoral Commission has alerted the public to a fraudulent website circulating online under the title “INEC Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment 2026.”
In a public notice issued on Saturday via its official X handle, the commission described the website as fake, misleading and not authorised by INEC.
It cautioned Nigerians against submitting their personal information on the platform.
The commission stated that it neither approved nor originated the link currently being shared in connection with the purported recruitment exercise.
INEC emphasised that all official recruitment announcements would be communicated exclusively through its verified website and official communication channels.
The commission urged members of the public to disregard the fraudulent link and remain vigilant to avoid falling victim to scams.
