The Unites States Central Command on Wednesday announced that it carried out five strikes against multiple ISIS (Daesh) targets across Syria between January 27 and February 2.

According to CENTCOM, the operations targeted several ISIS facilities, including a communications site, a key logistics hub, and weapons storage locations.

In a statement, the command said the targets were destroyed using about 50 precision-guided munitions delivered by fixed-wing aircraft, rotary-wing aircraft, and unmanned aerial systems.

“Striking these targets demonstrates our continued focus and resolve for preventing an ISIS resurgence in Syria,” said Adm. Brad Cooper, the CENTCOM commander.

Cooper added that operating in coordination with coalition and partner forces “to ensure the enduring defeat of ISIS makes America, the region and the world safer.”
