Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has responded to claims made by her co-wife, Laila Charani, who alleged that Regina introduced her and other women in their husband Ned Nwoko’s house, including Regina’s younger sister Destiny, to hard drugs, and accused her of sleeping with women.
In a post shared on her Instastory, Regina described Laila’s claims as “useless and hurtful” and addressed each allegation directly. She dismissed the claim that it is unsafe for her children to be around her, saying: “First off! Openly saying you can’t leave kids around me is the most useless and hurtful thing Ned ordered his retarded wife to say. I’m such a mother to so many children that it’s quite tiring.”
On the allegations about same-gender relationships, Regina said: “Truthfully, sleeping with the same gender isn’t something that I consider shameful, but how is the other woman so certain? Lol. Is she so certain because I slept with her too?”
She also referenced her co-wife’s son, highlighting issues with his past behaviour: “I hope she also knows that if not for the disadvantages of polygamy, her son and mine can’t be together because of all the atrocities we have caught him doing that I will never mention! But my son loves him, so what can I do!”
Finally, Regina warned her estranged husband about the care of her children: “Ned better protect my kids! Their foundation is the ultimate, and do not use them to weaken me.”
The exchange follows a viral post from Laila Charani, which sparked reactions online after she claimed that Regina introduced her to drugs and engaged in relationships with women.
