Nigerian actor and Yoruba film star, Seun Osundiya, popularly known as Seun Confirm, has passed away.

His death was confirmed on Wednesday by fellow actor Jaiye Kuti, who paid an emotional tribute via Instagram.

Kuti expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing Seun’s death as heartbreaking.

In her message, she referenced “High BPH,” a likely indication that the actor died from complications related to benign prostatic hyperplasia — a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate that can lead to serious health issues.

“Seun Confirm. Your death pains me greatly. God Almighty, death is cruel. Rest in peace? Not now, Lord! I am deeply hurt,” she wrote.
“Ah, I am pained, High BPH. We shall meet at the feet of Jesus. Sleep well, and may God comfort your family.”

Another actor, Oluwaseyi Edun, also paid tribute in the comment section of the post, sharing details of their last interaction. She recalled their final chat in July, where Seun reached out after replacing his damaged phone.

“Unquestionable God. Seun, you chatted me July 27th that your phone was not good, that you just got a new phone and you could not remember the date of my event again and sent me a voice note to know if the event was still intact,” she wrote.
“After my response, you still wished me happy last Sunday of the month. May your soul rest in peace.”

Seun Confirm was not only a fast-rising actor in the Yoruba film industry but also a film producer and a master of ceremonies (MC), known for his energy and versatility.

His sudden death comes just weeks after the passing of another up-and-coming actress, Omotola Odunsi, leaving the industry reeling from back-to-back losses.
