Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has voiced concerns over the number of direct messages she has received from men following her recent breakup with billionaire businessman, Oil Money.
In a post shared via her Instagram story, the actress reposted a quote that read: “A good woman is not easy to find nowadays. You have to steal her from a careless man who doesn’t value what he has.”
Reacting to the post, Angela questioned the motive behind the sudden interest from men, stating, “Is that why there are so many guys on my DM? God abeg o. I’m running for my life, and I don’t know who to trust anymore.”
The actress, who previously dated the oil magnate, publicly confirmed their breakup last month. She stated that she had chosen to keep their relationship private until marriage but decided to end things due to his unfaithful behavior. Angela alleged that despite blocking him across all platforms, he continued to plead for reconciliation, even sending intermediaries to speak on his behalf.
She further described her ex as a “pathological and habitual liar,” calling him a narcissist and accusing him of persistent dishonesty. The single mother revealed she had no intention of returning to a relationship marked by deceit.
Earlier in February, Angela had clapped back at those spreading rumors about her romance with Oil Money. She dismissed the gossip, asserting that love remains a beautiful thing and encouraged her fans not to be swayed by negativity. At the time, she had shared affectionate videos with her then-partner, declaring that their love was growing stronger each day.
In a separate social media outburst, Angela also criticized fellow actresses who, according to her, engage in transactional relationships for material gain while flaunting their lifestyle online. She said such behavior was not something she could ever indulge in.
