Former Big Brother Naija housemates, Liquorose and Prince Enwerem, have been crowned Best Dressed Female and Male at the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards Cultural Day.
The colourful event took place on Friday, May 9, at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos. It was part of a three-day celebration leading up to the main awards night.
Both stars wowed guests with their traditional outfits that paid homage to Nigerian heritage. Liquorose wore a beautifully designed outfit covered in beads, coral accessories, and a bold headpiece that got everyone’s attention.
Prince, a former Mr Nigeria, looked regal in his embroidered outfit that reflected royalty. His classic accessories and polished style impressed fans and judges alike.
The winners were chosen through public voting and social media engagement, under the new Amstel Malta Sleek MVPs initiative. They each received a ₦1 million cash prize sponsored by Goldberg.
Other celebrities such as Neo and Venita Akpofure, also from Big Brother Naija, made stunning fashion statements but did not take home the top prize.
The AMVCA Cultural Day is known for celebrating African heritage through fashion, food, and performances. This year’s edition once again showcased rich traditional wear from different parts of Nigeria and Africa.
Men at the event wore elegant agbadas with powerful designs that represented pride and identity, while the women stunned in flowing gowns, corsets, beads, and detailed embroidery.
The main AMVCA award ceremony will hold on Saturday, May 11.
