Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has addressed the claims of using diabolical powers to defeat his colleague, Speed Darlington, in their recent celebrity boxing match.
Recall that Portable was declared the winner of the match, titled ‘Chaos in the Rings’, after Speed Darlington failed to continue into the second round due to an arm injury sustained in the first round.
However, in a post-match social media statement, Speed Darlington suggested that the injury might have been caused by juju, implying that Portable had used supernatural means to secure his victory.
“I don’t know what exactly happened, maybe it was the juju that Portable brought. I wasn’t tired, but my hand got dislocated,” Speed Darlington claimed.
Responding to the allegations, Portable embraced the accusation, admitting to using juju during the fight. “I am not a loser, I am a winner. He [Speed Darlington] is saying I used juju. Yes, na juju, go find your own juju,” he said confidently in a video post. He also thanked his fans for their unwavering support, saying, “My fans, God bless you. Thank you for your support.”
In a separate development, Portable received a ₦20 million gift from Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, who celebrated his boxing win. Portable shared the generous gesture on Instagram, saying, “₦20 million from Burna Boy. If you wanna be like Odogwu, can you do like Odogwu? God bless your family.”
