Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu congratulate Bishop Oyedepo on 70th birthday

President Bola Tinubu and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu have congratulated Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, as he marks his 70th birthday.

In a statement on Friday, President Tinubu praised Bishop Oyedepo for his remarkable impact on the nation and his contributions to the global Christian community.

“President Bola Tinubu rejoices with the entire Body of Christ, members of Winners’ Chapel, and the family of the charismatic and visionary leader on this milestone, which deserves all the recognition and honor,” the statement read.

Tinubu highlighted Bishop Oyedepo’s contributions through his church, including educational and health institutions, and his guidance to both private and public sector leaders. He noted that Oyedepo’s teachings, publications, and worldwide missionary work have brought glory to Nigeria.

The president also extended his congratulations to Bishop Oyedepo’s family, saying, “President Bola Tinubu shares the joy of celebrations with the Presiding Bishop, his wife, Faith Abiola, and all their biological and spiritual children. He prays to God for greater heights in the ministry.”

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu also paid tribute to Bishop Oyedepo, recognizing his contributions to both Nigeria and the world.

“Today, I extend hearty congratulations and my best wishes to Bishop David Oyedepo as he celebrates his 70th birthday,” Sanwo-Olu said. “His dedicated service in God’s kingdom and philanthropic efforts have made him a role model for millions. His positive impact both in Nigeria and worldwide is truly commendable.”

Other leaders across the country have also joined in celebrating Bishop Oyedepo’s life and achievements.
