I COLLECT RANSOM BASED ON THE WORTH OF THE VICTIM! Police arrest millionaire kidnapper who abducts only elderly persons
The Imo State Police Command has arrested one Patrick Bori, who allegedly specialised in the kidnapping elderly persons aged 80 and above.
Bori was arrested penultimate Thursday by the Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Squad following the abduction of Reginald Nkwocha, 84, Adolphus Akagha, 94, and Dorathy Nkwo, 82.
Bori, 34, popularly known as Bori, operated with one Uchenna Emerenjo also from the same community.
Fielding questions from our correspondent, Bori confessed that he had realised over N50 million from the illicit business.
Bori while speaking on why he preferred kidnapping elderly persons, said,
“They don’t have the strength to run away from my den. As you keep them there, so they stay till a ransom is paid.
“I don’t have a fixed ransom. The ransom I collect depends on the worth of the victim. We don’t keep them long for fear of them giving up the ghost.”
