Former BBNaija winner and singer, Olamilekan Massoud Al-Khalifah Agbeleshebioba popularly known as Laycon has called out DJ Neptune over unpaid music royalties.
The artist who took to his personal X.com page on Wednesday quizzed the popular DJ on the reason he had not fufiled their agreement since four years ago.
Laycon wrote, “Abeg o… @deejayneptune how far my agreement and split for the “Nobody (Icons Remix)” song though. Is it not still ready?haba it’s been 4 years o 🤦🏾♂️.Cc @emPawaAfrica.”
Nobody Icon remix,’ which also featured Joeboy, was released in October 2020 and the song was dedicated to fans of the BBNaija winner known as Icons.
Laycon became popular after winning the fifth season of the reality Tv show “Big Brother Naija” Season 5 in 2020.
His time on the show was marked with intelligence, humility, and musical talent, which endeared him to a large audience.
This disclosure by Laycon has sparked controversy and discussion among fans.
