Nana Otedola, the mother of Nigerian disc jockey Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has prayed for her daughter to find her ideal partner. DJ Cuppy shared a screenshot of her mother’s prayer on her Instagram story on Sunday.
The message from Nana Otedola read, “Now that you are becoming your best self and fully united to God, when you are not watching you will meet a man on his best self journey. God will give you a man who is running after Him IJN.”
In November 2022, DJ Cuppy got engaged on stage to YouTuber and BMX rider Ryan Taylor. However, by July 2023, Cuppy and Ryan had gone their separate ways, unfollowing each other on social media. Since then, Cuppy has remained silent about being in a committed relationship and has focused more on her faith.
In March, DJ Cuppy revealed that one of her biggest regrets was not saying “No” to her estranged fiancé, Ryan Taylor.
Reflecting on her single status, she once mentioned that being a single and childless woman in her 30s is “terrible.”
