Nollywood has been plunged into mourning following the reported demise of veteran actor Zulu Adigwe.
Adigwe, known for his memorable roles in movies such as “Living in Bondage” and “Breaking Free,” is said to have passed away on Tuesday evening, according to an Instagram post by movie producer Stanley Nwoko.
“I regret to announce the passing of a veteran actor, late Mr. Zulu Adigwe,” Nwoko wrote. “What caused his death is yet to be reviewed. Rest in peace, good actor.”
Adigwe passing adds to the list of Nollywood stars lost in 2024, including Sisi Quadri, Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Andy Best, Jumoke Aderounmu, and Junior Pope.
