The International Centre for Sports Studies, a reputable independent, research and education organization, located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland has released a list of most valuable football players in the transfer market for 2024
Real Madrid’s English midfielder Jude Bellingham leads the world’s most valuable soccer players in 2024, valued at 267.5 million euros
The 23-year-old’s stellar form, scoring 13 goals in 17 La Liga games since his $113 million move from Borussia Dortmund, contributes to his top position.
Surprisingly, 51 players now exceed $100 million in value, with over half in the Premier League.
Arsenal boasts seven players in this category, but Manchester City and Real Madrid dominate the top, each with six players surpassing $100 million.
Erling Haaland ranks second, while Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Phil Foden, and Julian Alvarez also secure top-ten spots.
Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka claims the fifth spot, maintaining the same top five players as the previous summer list, with Bellingham climbing and Saka dropping.
CIES factors in age, contract length, and club affiliation in player valuations.
Despite Kylian Mbappe nearing the end of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, making him free to move in the summer, he remains the 27th most expensive player globally and the priciest in Ligue 1, valued at $116 million.
