Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has asserted that Jude Bellingham has done very well for the club, as the team poised to defend their Copa del Rey title.

The upcoming clash against Arandina CF in the round of 32 marks Madrid’s entry into this year’s competition, following their triumph in Seville last May.

Ancelotti confirmed that Bellingham, the CIES Football Observatory’s most valuable player, valued at €267.5 million ($292 million), will feature in a robust Madrid squad.

Regular starters Toni Kroos, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Vinícius Júnior will be rested.

The coach expressed praise for Bellingham’s adaptation to the club, stating, “[Bellingham] has done very well in the first half of the season. Bearing in mind that he’s had to adapt to our club, to a new culture and language, he’s done very well. For us, obviously, he’s the best.”

Madrid, the reigning champions, face Arandina, a fourth-tier team that eliminated LaLiga side Cádiz in December. Ancelotti emphasized the significance of the Copa del Rey, a competition that brought them joy last year.

The coach revealed the squad for the upcoming game, with Kroos, Tchouameni, and Vinícius resting.

Ancelotti also provided updates on player availability, stating, “[Eduardo] Camavinga is available. [Ferland] Mendy is still missing, he’ll be in the squad for the Supercopa… Arda Güler is available. He’s an option to start the game.”

Ancelotti, a two-time Copa del Rey winner with Madrid, highlighted the unforgettable moments from the finals in 2014 and last year, expressing the team’s determination to pursue success in the competition again.
