Paris Saint-Germain secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Le Havre in a Ligue 1 match marred by a red card and missed opportunities.

Despite facing early setbacks, including an injury to Fabian Ruiz and a red card for goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, PSG emerged victorious thanks to a goal from Kylian Mbappe and a deflected shot from Vitinha.

Le Havre, who had chances to win the match themselves, were thwarted by PSG’s defense and goalkeeper Arnau Tenas, who made his debut in the Paris goal.

The home side should have taken the lead early on, but Gautier Lloris missed his opportunity.

PSG’s talisman, Kylian Mbappe, opened the scoring with a brilliant goal from 20 yards out.

Le Havre responded with a dominant second half, creating several chances to equalize. However, they were unable to find the back of the net, and PSG held on for a crucial victory.

The win extends PSG’s lead at the top of Ligue 1 to four points, while Le Havre remain in ninth place
