NPFL reschedules Doma United vs Bendel Insurance match
The Nigeria Premier Football League has rescheduled the matchday six fixture between Doma United and Bendel Insurance to Wednesday, November 8, at the Pantami Stadium.
The encounter was originally scheduled for Thursday, November 2, but was moved due to logistics reasons.
Confirming the postponement on its official website on Tuesday, Doma United wrote, “The Nigeria Premier Football League has announced the rescheduling of our match day six fixture against Bendel Insurance. The decision, conveyed in a letter signed by the League’s Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi, outlines a shift in the match date.
Originally slated to take place on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, at the Pantami Stadium, the fixture has now been rescheduled to Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, at the same venue.”
Doma United will now shift their attention to the Northeast derby against Gombe United on Sunday.
Bendel Insurance, on the other hand, will have a week to prepare for their next match, which is against Rivers United on Sunday, November 12.
This will give them more time to rest and recover, and to work on their tactical plans.
