DEFECTION? Melaye storms Senate in neck brace, walking stick, sits among PDP senators
The embattled lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye, attended plenary on Wednesday in a cervical collar and with a walking stick.
This is the first time Melaye would be in the Senate in over one month.
However, Melaye announced that he would like to move from the APC wing in the Senate to the PDP.
He announced he would sit beside former Senate President, David Mark, pending the time a seat will be allocated to him.
Melaye also thanked his colleagues, members of the House of Representatives, his constituents and the Nigerian populace for standing by him during his travails with the Senate.
