PHOTOS: ‘Justice For MoBhad’ protests hits Lagos, other states
The mysterious death of young musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad has sparked protests in multiple states, with youths gathering to demand justice for the deceased.
In Abeokuta, Ogun State, a group of youths dressed in black attire, symbolizing mourning, gathered at the skating ground arena.
They held placards with inscriptions such as #JusticeForMohbad and #WhoOffLight, expressing their grievances over the musician’s demise.
Similar protests have occurred in Ikorodu, Lagos, where young demonstrators carried placards reading “We no go gree, justice for Mohbad.”
Additionally, youths in Warri, Delta State, gathered at Effurun Road to demand justice for Mohbad.
Unverified reports circulating on social media have implicated Naira Marley, the owner of Marlian Records, in Mohbad’s death.
However, Naira Marley mourned Mohbad’s passing, describing him as “more than an artiste or signee but a brother and dear friend.”
The Lagos State Police Command has taken action by inaugurating a 13-man special investigation team to probe the mysterious death of the Nigerian singer.
Mohbad, who was formerly signed to Marlian Records, passed away at the age of 27, leaving his fans and supporters in shock and grief.
