Bad Bunny was the star of the occasion when he claimed 10 awards at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

The 27-year-old rapper won the artist of the year accolade in addition to the nine other trophies at the ceremony held at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables in Florida on Thursday (23 September).

The Black Eyed Peas claimed the Latin Pop Song of the Year with the single “Mamacita,” just as Karol G, Maluma and The Weeknd went home with two awards apiece.

An elated Bad Bunny said, “Thanks always to all the audience for all the support, for supporting the music we make, thanks to all those who worked on this anthem,” said Bad Bunny after receiving the Hot Latin Song award. “Thank you for always being there for us. You are the ones who give us this award.”
