The management of the Lagos State University has reacted to the killing of a student activist, Nurudeen Alowonle, outside the school gate.

While mourning the late student, the school management claimed that Alowonle has yet to collect his certificate as a result of some disciplinary issues.

Recall that the late student along with the institution’s Senior Assistant Registrar, Mr. Waheed Majekodunmi were both attacked by unknown gunmen on Wednesday.

The management has, however, reassured the entire students of the institution that the attack will be adequately addressed.

LASU Coordinator of the Centre for Information Press and Public Relations, Mr Ademola Adekoya, gave the assurance in a statement on Friday.

Adekoya said that the management commended the students’ union and the entire students for their maturity and restraint since the attack by suspected armed robbers on the former student and a staff.
