LASU appoints new registrar, bursar, others
The Lagos State University Governing Council has approved the appointment of new principal officers; registrar, bursar and the director of internal audit.
The university’s spokesman, Ademola Adekoya, announced the appointments in a statement.
A former Acting and Deputy Registrar, Vice Chancellor’s Office of the institution, Mr Emmanuel Fanu, was elevated as the Registrar, while Mr Said Babatunde Olayinka, was reinstated as Bursar of the University.
Mrs Margaret Ogunkoya, who was appointed the substantive Director, Internal Audit, until her appointment, occupied the same position, in acting capacity.
The two new Principal Officers are expected to assume duty on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
They were appointed following the successful conclusion of an interview exercise that took place on Wednesday and Thursday.
LASU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, congratulated the new appointees and wished them a successful tenure of office.
