WATERLOO! SARS operatives nab three ‘one chance’ fraudsters in Lagos, recover fake charms and dollars [Photos]
Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad attached to the Lagos State Command have nabbed three “one-chance” operators who specialise in defrauding unsuspecting Lagosians.
Narrating the fraudsters modus operandi, SARS Commander, Tunji Disu, on his Twitter handle said the three, which include one woman, will pretend to be operating a commercial taxi with just a seat available. They will pick an unsuspecting passenger, whom the fraudster will stylishly trick to a native doctor who scams victims of belongings.
He wrote,
The police have caught them !!! These are fraudsters, who pick unsuspecting passengers in their car. The lady amongst dem would be found with millions of dollars. They will agree to share the dollars with the passenger, who is tricked to a native Dr who scams victims of belongings, be warned.
