Reality TV star and chef, Uriel Oputa, has reacted to the ongoing debate by ladies that men should always give them transport fare after going on date with them.

This comes after arguments about ‘whether ladies deserve transport fare after meeting a man on a date’ in a video that has since gone viral.

Uriel while reacting to the video said she was taught by her mother to always have her own money, thus, it would not make any sense demanding money from men after going on a date.

She said, “Please I’ve been seeing all these posts about when you go on a date with a man, he should give you money to go home.

“My mum raised me to:

1) Never order something you can’t afford at first.

2) Always carry money in your bag for safety purposes (some guys will surprise you, order food and run)

3) Decorum is everything!!

4) There will be plenty of days for him to spoil you, but why not spoil yourself by going home with a clear mind and not being manipulated by his money.

Do you really like him or his taxi fare.

5) You know it’s a first date…jeez easy na.”
