Ethiopian athlete, Dagne Siranesh Yirga, on Saturday beats fellow country woman, Alemeneshi Hereha Guta and Naomi Maiyo of Kenya to second and third positions respectively to claim the top prize in the female category of the 2022 Access Bank-Lagos City Marathon.
The Ethiopian will be travelling back home with the $30,000 (N12.5 million) grand prize at stake after clinching the gold medal.
