Comedian Gloria Oloruntobi popularly known as Maraji, says 2021 has been a topsy turvy year for her, saying that she succeeded in conceiving after beating the odds to survive haemorrhoids and Polycystic ovary.
The Instagram content creator, who revealed her baby bump on Instagram a week ago, intimated her followers on how the year went in a YouTube video.
Maraji explained that she had a hemorrhoidectomy at the beginning of this year.
A hemorrhoidectomy is a surgery conducted to remove internal or external haemorrhoids that are discovered to be extensive or severe.
According to UCSF Centre for Colorectal Surgery, surgical hemorrhoidectomy is the most effective treatment for hemorrhoids.
While disclosing that she was married in 2021 and now pregnant with her first child, Maraji said that she suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome.
Recall that the skit maker, who used to post regularly on Instagram, took a break for months and only returned with an update about the eventful year she had.
