Soldiers of 177 Guards Battalion while on raid operation at Ugya village in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State destroyed some armed militia camp.
This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu.
He said troops also arrested the spiritual head of the militia group, one Angulu Idaku.
Brigadier General Chukwu listed the items recovered from the militia to include; Seven locally made guns, 12 cartridges, 200 rounds of 7.62MM special ammunition, 76 rounds of 7.62MM NATO special ammunition, four knives, 15 cutlasses, six mobile phones, one DSTV decoder set as well as four solar panel sets.
