Stop copying me, Mr Eazi warns Jay Z
Nigerian singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade aka Mr Eazi, has called out American rapper Shawn Corey Carter, known professionally as Jay-Z for copying him.
On Wednesday, Mr Eazi in an Instagram post begged his fans and followers to tell Jay-Z to quit ‘copying him’ just as he posted a screenshot of Marcy Venture Partners’ recent fundings.
“Somebody tell Jay Z to stop copying me,” he said.
Marcy Venture Partners is a capital firm that is interested in investing in startups with consumer products and services, and digital media and technologies. It was co-founded by Jay Z in 2019.
As seen on Eazi’s post, Jay Z just closed its second fund with $325 million.
Eazi’s post however garnered mixed reactions from netizens who couldn’t decipher what exactly the ‘forever young’ rapper copied from Mr Eazi.
