Three months after sacking cabinet, Bauchi Gov sends 17 commissioners list for screening
Three months after sacking members of his cabinet, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has sent the names of new commissioners to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.
The letter of the nomination was transmitted to the assembly by the governor on Tuesday and was read during plenary by the Speaker, Abubakar Y Suleiman.
The nominees include Abdulkadir Ibrahim from Alkaleri LGA; Garba Dahiru and Nuruddeen Abdulhamid from Bauchi LGA, Ahmed Aliyu Jalam from Dambam LGA, Dayyabu Chiroma from Darazo LGA, Maryam Garba Bagel from Dass LGA, Umar Babayo Kesa from Gamawa LGA, Asma’u Ahmed from Giade LGA.
Others are Usman Abdulkadir Middibo from Jama’are LG, Hajara Jibrin Gidado from Itas – Gadau LGA, Sama’ila Dahuwa Kaila from Katagum LGA, Aminu Hammayo from Misau LGA, Hamisu Muazu Shira from Shira LGA, Sama’ila Burga and Abubakar Abdulhamid Bununu from Tafawa Balewa LGA, Aliyu Usman Tilde from Toro LGA and Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki from Warji LGA. b
