Mohammed Fawehinmi, the son of Late iconic legal luminary and human rights activist, Gani Fawehinmi, has passed away.

- Mohammed Fawehinmi is the first son of the late human rights lawyer Chief Gani Fawehinmi.
- Born on February 21, 1969, Mohammed died at the age of 52 in Lagos on Wednesday.
- After his primary education at Kotun Memorial School, Surulere, Lagos he proceeded to the Federal Government College, Sokoto, for his secondary education.
- In 1991, Mohammed graduate from the University of Lagos after studying Business Administration.
- He obtained an LLB degree from the University of Buckingham, England and was called to Bar in 1998.
- His childhood dream was “to become an army general,” he said in a 2018 interview with The PUNCH.
- Mohammed lost his ability to walk at the age of 34 after his involvement in a car accident on September 23, 2003.
- Devastated by the tragedy, Mohammed who said he was dating a “beautiful Igbo lady” broke up with her after the accident. “She still wanted to stay with me; I was the one who advised her to move on because she may not be able to cope with the demands of my new condition,” he said in the interview.
- He has over 20 years of experience in the practice of law.
- Until his demise, he was the Head, Mohammed Fawehinmi’s Chambers, Director, Nigerian Law Publications Limited, Director, Books Industries Nigeria Limited and Director, Gani Fawehinmi Library and Gallery Limited.
