A yet to be identified official of the Federal Road Safty Corps was on Monday morning caught on camera slapping an innocent driver in Ogun State.
This was made known in a video that went viral online few minutes ago.
The video also showed another FRSC officer endangering the lives of passengers in a commercial vehicle he had arrested.
The passengers were heard shouting on the FRSC officer to leave the expressway after taking over the steering while driving the vehicle to their office for booking and ticketing.
A witness who shared the video said he was in a commercial vehicle travelling from Ilorin to Lagos when the incident happened.
He said when their vehicle got to Ogbomosho opposite the FRSC office, they discovered that the officials have been harassing commercial drivers since the early hours of the morning.
The witness said the FRSC officials were not checking for vehicles papers instead they stop a driver and ordered him to drive into their premises.
He said the FRSC officials force the drivers to drive into their office and any driver that refuses to follow the instruction gets the beating of his life.
