In an unprecedented Olympics opening ceremony that is overshadowed by the coronavirus pandemic, the delegation of Team Nigeria strutted out gallantly in Tokyo on Friday.
Robed in dazzling green and white attires and waving their flags, the procession of athletes and officials added glitz to the ceremony when they marched through an almost empty stadium, with broad smiles hidden behind face masks for the first time.
