Not less than 15 kidnap victims abducted by bandits alongside Tanko Salihu Islamiyya students in Tegina, Niger State have escaped from their abductors.
The Nation reports that the victims who were separated from the children after the abduction reportedly fled from their captors as the guards watching them were deeply asleep.
Some residents were said to have confirmed the report. It was also learnt that the escaped victims were received by the Vice-Chairman of Rafi Local Government Area at Birnin Gwari community.
The escapees reportedly arrived in the town on Saturday night while the others arrived on Sunday morning and afternoon and have been admitted to health facilities.
