JUST IN: Gunmen raze Imo police headquarters in fresh attack
The Amandugba Divisional Police Headquarters in Isu Local Government Area of Imo State was set ablaze by some unknown gunmen on Monday.
According to The Nation, the assailants torched the police station by throwing inflammable substances at the police facility.
The attack on the Amandugba police station is the fourth Divisional Police Headquarters set ablaze by unknown gunmen in the state less than one week, coming as residents complied with the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
“Isu Divisional Police Headquarters is on fire now. Fire has engulfed the facility. The attackers threw explosives objects and it caught fire immediately,” an anonymous witness revealed.
