Njoku gets frisked for ‘random’ drug search at airports – iROKO TV boss, Jason Njoku laments
From afar, Jason Njoku, iROKO TV boss cuts the image of a fulfilled and successful personality business mogul.
But Njoku is far from being happy.
The serial entrepreneur on Monday disclosed how difficult it has been for him to pass through virtually every airport across the globe without be pulled aside for drug search.
Njoku, who made the statement via his Twitter page stated, that he is puzzled why it happens almost every time he travels.
According to the father-of-three, it has happened to him in Ghana, UK, Dubai, US and South Africa.
Njoku, who appeared to be tired of being profiled as a suspected drug trafficker, wondered if it has something to do with his physique or mode of dressing.
“Everytime I try to exit Kotoko Airport, Accra I get pulled aside for a ‘random’ drug search. 100% of the time. From UK. Drug search. Dubai. Drug search. US Drug search. SA. Drug search. Not Dollars o. Drugs. Unsure how drug mules look but never considered myself the profile.”
