Six years after denouncing marriage feminist weds lover
A popular feminist identified as @itsnisrin on Twitter has finally tied the knot with her lover six years after saying she is not going to get married.
Feminism is a range of social movements, political movements, and ideologies that aim to define and establish the political, economic, personal, and social equality of the sexes.
Her wedding took her fans and followers by surprise as she is popularly known for telling women to always prioritize themselves over men and be very picky to the point that if no man meets their standards, then they should stay single.
In 2015, Nis had said that she is very picky when it comes to choosing men, noting that she doesn’t think she would ever get married.
However, in a recent update in August 2021, she shared a photo of herself and her hubby from their wedding day and told people she had earlier advised not to mind her 2015 post.
Meanwhile, the husband known as Walid had said in 2014 that he wanted to get married.
”I kinda do wanna get married you know,” he said.
In a new post, he also shared photos from their wedding and captioned it; “Only took me 7 years.”
