Entrepreneur and actress, Ruth Kadiri has weighed in on Baba Ijesha’s alleged rape saga involving a 14-year-old girl.

Recall that a police source earlier confirmed that the comedian who is still in police custody may be released on Friday, April 30th.

The source explained that the actor may be released due to the ongoing strike action by judicial workers and for this reason holding on to Baba Ijesha without trial is against the law.

In reaction to the development, mother-of-one, Ruth Kadiri took to her official Instagram page to urge parents to be vigilant and guard their children.

The actress, who averred that there are no laws to protect a child in Nigeria, concluded that the country is not a safe place to raise one’s children.

“In Nigeria, children have no rights, there are no laws guiding them. This is no place to raise your kids. Even the people in power, some of them are pedophiles. Keep your young ones safe. Be guarded,” she said.
