Nigeria’s Ejowvokoghene Oduduru has qualified for the semi-finals of the men’s 200m at the ongoing Rio 2016 Olympics.
Oduduru came in second behind defending champion Usain Bolt in heat 9 to qualify for the semi finals.
The 19-year-old ran a time of 20.34s behind Bolt who came in at 20.28s.
Oduduru will be contesting in the semi-finals on Thursday.

The 19-year-old is a five-time African Junior Champion and was the 2014 World Junior Silver Medallist in the 200 metres.
He was the gold medalist in both the 100 metres and 200 metres at the 2013 African Youth Athletics Championships.
The Delta State born sprinter was a finalist in the 200 m at the 2013 World Youth Championships in Athletics. He won the 200m at the 2013 African Junior Championships and was also a member of the Gold medal winning 4 × 100m relay quartet.
He successfully defended his 200m title at the 2015 African Junior Championships and also added the 100m and 4 × 100 m gold medals to his tally.
He was a subject of internet trollers after his win at the 2013 World Youth Championships in Athletics which took place in Donetsk, Ukraine for saying “I never expected it” with a heavy Nigerian accent during an interview after the win.
